I'm richer by a Gold Bar today!
A peer from another department who worked with me on one of the initiatives I've recently led has bestowed the Rave Gold Bar Recognition to me for People Leadership as part of the peer to peer recognition program recently launched by our HR department.
I was not aware of this program until I received the notification this morning.
I must admit that this acknowledgment has left me beaming from ear to ear as the write up was unexpected, extremely generous and inspiring.
This reminded me of how a simple gesture and acknowledgment can do wonders to one's morale.
I wish I can bestow the same blessing to someone else.
